Flavors and Traditions of Ortezzano
An itinerary through folk art, authentic flavors, and community life
An itinerary that invites you to explore Ortezzano through its most vibrant forms of expression: music, dance, local specialties, and the stories of its people. Start from the historic center, where you can admire places related to local culture such as Piazza Giampaoli and the Sant’Antonio Auditorium—home of the Certamen Latinum and events celebrating the village’s cultural heritage.
The tour continues with a walk or short e-bike ride through the countryside, visiting farms that produce wine, “vino cotto” (lit. cooked wine), cured meats, and typical Valdaso fruit.
Then, end your trip with a guided tasting, where traditional flavors meet stories of local producers, for an experience that combines culture, taste and conviviality.
